We used to feel sorry for the college players as going pro was the only way to get compensated for their talents. But now, things have taken a complete left turn. The greed of the NIL is causing players to act out in ways that damages the entire sport. This cannot last forever. The NCAA is going to fix this, or risk losing what made this game so special.

Reality collided with the Longhorns’ fantasy of competing for the natty in 2025. Now Sark is facing even more hurdles in his quest to fulfil that destiny for 2026.

There is a new antagonist in Washington. Just two days after QB Demond Williams publicly announced that he had “re-signed” with the Huskies, he entered the portal. 

To make matters worse, it is being reported that Williams sent the message during the memorial service for late UW women’s soccer player Mia Hamant. It is now being alleged that he could be headed to LSU, as the Tigers had apparently offered him $2 million on top of the $5 million UW was already set to pay him for next season.
