We are all in some ways jealous of the college athletes we see play out there on the gridiron. For some, it could be all the attention and adoration they receive. And for others it’s the ability to live out their childhood dreams, that many of us never could.

But what is less known is how few of these college players end up making it into the pro game. For many, a return to regular life is seamless. But sometimes tragedy can strike that can turn an entire family’s life upside down.
