Backup players are scheming to get into rosters where they will see more time on the gridiron. Everyone is looking out for themselves first. It is yet to be seen if college football can sustain such turmoil in the long term.

Did you know

The creation of the transfer portal allows students to pick where they wish to transfer without restrictions. In the past, players had to seek permission to contact other schools. This means coaches could potentially attempt to block some players from going to rival programs.
