Just like everything else, college football also has a dark side to it. It doesn’t have to always be a big media meltdown like in the case of Sherrone Moore. Sometimes the everyday experiences of these young players are tarnished by fringe elements of rival programs. Since optics matter in a sport that brings in billions, such incidents are usually brushed under the rug. But nothing stays buried forever.

Everyone wants their program to be chosen by the best recruits. When that doesn’t happen, most of us just go about our day after feeling bad. Some people though take their disappointment a bit too far.
