Nation's No. 3 WR To Join B1G Giants

To fill up the void before we get to see athletes on the gridiron, college football analysts are occupied with seeing where the 2028 commits are leaning towards. The B1G looks to be overtaking the SEC in that regard.

The SEC used to be the primary option for blue chip commits with the rest of the Power-5 being alternatives. The last three Natty wins have changed that hierarchy.

Wednesday’s Results: 71% of you felt that the reason we don’t do well at soccer on the world stage is because all the good athletes are pursuing other sports like football and basketball. This was an interesting discussion as most of you pointed out that the lack of soccer infrastructure and an absence of old rivalries compounded the problem. The lack of interest in soccer is fueled by factors outside of other sports being popular as well.

Our favorite comment was from the user ‘kimmeldb’ who said = The US does not yet have world-class coaching infrastructure in soccer, compared to teams in Europe and South America, and now a rising Africa. American football is not a world-wide sport, so using it as a comparator to the rest of the world is not useful. However, the US's basketball coaches are the best in the world. The best kids from Europe and Africa come here to play basketball because they get coached up and can compete against superior competition. When that happens in soccer, the US will get closer.
